Summary of the annual meeting of the Security, Policing and Cyber Security Forum - January 27, 2026

On January 27, 2026, the annual meeting of the Security, Safety, Policing and Cyber Forum of the Israel–Greece Chamber

of Commerce was held, initiated by the Chamber and in cooperation with and hosted by Meitar | Law Offices.

Approximately 60 participants took part in the meeting – Chamber members, members of the Chamber’s Executive

Board, company representatives, entrepreneurs, experts and professionals from the security, technological and public

ecosystems.

The meeting was held in accordance with the agenda and dealt, inter alia, with aspects of homeland security, safety,

cyber, policing and advanced technologies, with an emphasis on opportunities for cooperation between Israeli

companies and Greek and international entities.

The guest of honor at the event was Ms. Maya Solomou, Ambassador of Greece to Israel, who expressed her warm

appreciation and emphasized the depth of the bilateral relations between Israel and Greece, the high level of trust

between the countries, and the importance of deepening economic, security and technological cooperation. At the

beginning of her remarks, the Ambassador mentioned the bringing to burial of the kidnapped fallen soldier and the last

one, the late Ran Guaili, of blessed memory, and International Holocaust Remembrance Day, which further emphasized

her deep commitment. The event was opened by Mr. Savy Mionis, Chairman of the Israel–Greece Chamber of

Commerce.

The distinguished speakers, Adv. Yuval Sasson, Chief Superintendent (ret.) Alon Levavi as Manager of the Security Forum

at the Chamber, as well as Nimrod Eshel in his fascinating lecture on the world of drones, noted the deepening of the

bilateral relations and emphasized the business and economic opportunities in this industry, and the role and mission of

the Israel–Greece Chamber of Commerce in this arena.

In the concluding remarks, Kobi Biton, CEO of the Israel–Greece Chamber of Commerce, noted the significant space of

business opportunities facing companies and entrepreneurs from Israel in the Greek arena, especially in the fields of

security, cyber and advanced technologies. He further emphasized the Chamber’s commitment to expand and deepen

bilateral and regional cooperation, and to serve as an effective bridge between the ecosystems of the two countries.

The event was accompanied by a professional, open and substantive atmosphere, and strengthened the Chamber’s

position as a leading platform for creating business and strategic connections between Israel and Greece.

We call on those engaged in the industry to join us, and we will open new worlds for you on the Israeli–Greek bilateral

level as well as the regional level.
