Summary of the Chamber's Delegation to Global Pack & Foodtech 2025

Israel–Greece Chamber of Commerce at the GlobalPack Exhibition, Athens
07–09/11/2025
Activity Summary
On 07–09/11/2025, a delegation on behalf of the Israel–Greece Chamber of Commerce participated in a professional visit to the FoodTech / GlobalPack exhibition held in Athens – a leading expo in the fields of packaging, filling machinery, logistics, and solutions for the food, cosmetics, and pharma industries.

The delegation included industry, import/export, and business development professionals, led by the Chamber’s CEO, Cobi Bitton, who arrived with the purpose of reviewing new technologies, identifying partnership opportunities, and strengthening commercial cooperation between Israel and Greece.
Throughout the exhibition days, numerous meetings took place in the B2B area, where delegation members enjoyed free access, a comfortable work environment, refreshments, beverages, and lunch. In addition, the delegation was provided with direct and complimentary shuttle service to and from the exhibition venue, allowing smooth transportation at the start and end of each day.
During the visit, professional meetings were held with exhibiting companies and business entities, leading to the formation of several potential business deals and future collaborations, particularly in the areas of:
● Advanced packaging solutions
● Filling machines and production lines
● Reciprocal commercial representation agreements between Israeli and Greek companies
A highlight of the visit was an in-depth meeting with the Ambassador of Israel to Greece, Mr. Noam Katz, lasting approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. The meeting included a comprehensive review of bilateral economic relations, the regional landscape, and opportunities for strategic cooperation. We extend our appreciation and gratitude to the Ambassador for his ongoing willingness to meet Chamber representatives and guests, and for maintaining continuous and supportive cooperation.

In keeping with the Chamber’s tradition, a joint dinner was held for delegation members and local guests, providing an opportunity to strengthen personal relationships – which are the foundation for long-term collaboration.
Additional Chamber members who were already in Athens joined the activities, as well as Israeli businesspeople visiting the exhibition for the first time, whom we met during the exhibition tour – and their participation expanded the network of dialogue and opportunities.
We wish to warmly thank Neta Adoram and everyone who participated, coordinated, assisted, accompanied, and joined – whether for two days or three.
Your presence, professional commitment, and positive spirit are what made this visit both meaningful and successful.
We will continue working together to promote business, connect opportunities, and build partnerships between Israel and Greece.
Below are several delegation feedback reflections:
Aryeh Udler:
Cobi dear, thank you for the invitation and for the organized coordination. You are a true professional.
Dor Farkash:
Cobi, thank you very much for the organization and the opportunity to participate — it was very enriching. To the delegation members — I truly enjoyed being with you and we will stay in touch.
Moshe Sharet:
Thank you Cobi, for the organization and the experience!
Ehud Almon:
Thank you Cobi for the invitation to join the delegation and for the impeccable organization.
Shai Alon:
First of all, the exhibition is small and focused.
I was particularly interested in the field of single-use product manufacturing such as cups, carton packaging, bags, etc.
The exhibitors were polite, welcoming, and very eager to do business with Israel. I think it was very good, and I thank you for the effort and excellent time management.
