Cantina Academy Conference – Kalamata, October 2025

Honored to have participated in the Cantina Academy Conference – Kalamata 2025, organized by PROTHOTHEMA and Cantina Academy, as a guest speaker on “The Young Generation in Agriculture – Partnerships, Innovation, and Redefining Agriculture Beyond the Soil.”
In my presentation, I introduced the Croft-Ability & Croft-Stability framework — a vision balancing innovation with heritage; entrepreneurship with sustainability; global awareness with local identity.
Messinia represents both heritage and renewal — where a young farmer is also a storyteller, innovator, and ambassador of Mediterranean wellness and quality.
I was deeply moved by the warm hospitality and open-minded approach of the organizers, speakers, and guests, reflecting the genuine Greek spirit of dialogue and partnership.
Following the session, I was approached for several potential collaborations — with the Governor of Peloponnese, the Head of Agricultural Financial Services at Piraeus Bank, CEOs of agri-manufacturing companies, a leading olive oil entrepreneur and a representative of the International Olive Oil Council from Spain.
Cantina Academy takes place four times a year across different Greek regions, aiming to address both local and national agricultural challenges — bridging traditional farming with modern innovation to revive Greece’s agricultural pride.
I’m pleased to share that I’ve been invited to the next Cantina Academy Conference in Thessaloniki, on December 10th, 2025.
